No — there is no public toilet inside Peel station.
Peel station has no washroom of its own, but it drops you in the middle of the downtown shopping strip. Between the underground malls, the department stores and the P’tit Coin partner network, this is one of the easiest places in Montreal to find a free washroom quickly.
What to do instead
- Les Cours Mont-Royal and Place Ville Marie are both a short indoor walk and have free washrooms.
- Simons and the former Hudson’s Bay building on Sainte-Catherine have customer washrooms on upper floors.
- Look for the P’tit Coin decal on downtown storefronts — those businesses have agreed to let people use their washroom.
